Bout of Books 2016 Updates!

So what exactly is Bout of Books?
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 9th and runs through Sunday, May 15th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 16 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

Goals:
  • read 4 books
  • read for at least 2 hours every day (120 minutes)
  • participate in at least one Twitter chat
  • ENJOY everything I am reading!! No forcing myself to read something I am not excited about

In my original Bout of Books post, I listed a few books as my TBR crew BUT I tend to be a mood reader so it's changed a bit. I realized I haven't treated my unread library fairly so I'm going to tackle a few of those reads instead! :)

Here's what I plan to read this week:

Notes: I started reading I'll Give You the Sun but then received a notification from my library that my hold on Everything, Everything was ready to be picked up! And to be honest, I'll Give You the Sun isn't holding my attention as much as I thought it would BUT I'm determined to see it through.

  2. Sorry to hear I'll Give You the Sun isn't holding your attention; it's one of my favorite contemporaries. I really liked Everything, Everything though too, so I hope you enjoy that!

    1. I have high hopes for it still! I think it's more about my current mood than the actual book TBH. I love the wittiness and creative writing of Noah's voice and how the chapters alternate.
      Will keep you posted! :)

  4. I love how you're organizing your daily updates - such a great idea!
I'm a serial mood-reader too. I'm always sure to choose my TBR at the last possible minute for readathons, and my monthly TBR is full of all different types of genres to make sure I hit all my moods.
Can't wait to see your reviews for all these! (Especially the Name of the Wind, though!).
    Happy Reading!!
