Bout of Books Read-A-Thon!

"Who likes reading? Jenn likes reading? Is it true? It's true. I do, I do, I do-ooh!" (if you don't know where that's from, you're too young lol)

So what exactly is Bout of Books?

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 9th and runs through Sunday, May 15th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 16 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. - From the Bout of Books team

I'm so excited to be joining Bout of Books for the first time! I attempted to do Dewey's 24 hour readathon and everything that could have gone wrong went wrong that day. So needless to say my 24 hour reading party was more like 6 hours. Maybe next time lol

The "low pressure" part of this is what drew me in. I look forward to seeing how many books I can dive into. I'll definitely be using these tips to manage my time wisely :)

So what exactly do I plan to read during this week? I'm so glad you asked lol

This may be a bit ambitious since I will be working during this week, but no harm in trying right? :)

Join in on the fun! You know you have a TBR tower awaiting your attention ;)
May 9-15th .... let's get it!

  1. Good luck! I look forward to reading about your process.

  2. Good luck with the readathon. They can be very challenging but a lot of fun.

    1. I've heard. Hopefully I make it lol
      Thanks Lauren :)

  3. Good luck and welcome to Bout of Books!
There is zero pressure in this readathon, like that of Dewey's, so you'll probably do loads better :)

  4. Good luck with the readathon! I really enjoyed reading We Were Liars!

  5. I've heard some really good things about We Were Liars...I haven't read it yet, but I've had it on my Kindle shelf for a long time now! I can't wait to see what you think about it!

  6. Good luck with the readathon. I’m afraid it’s not for me, I don’t like pressure in my reading, even low pressure.

  7. Good luck, I hope it goes well! This sounds really fun! I'm doing a book buddy readathon pretty much at the same time so we can cheer each other on :)
I'm so happy to see Name of the Wind on your list!
